Nam Dinh is 90km from Hanoi. Reunification Express Train from Hanoi to Ho Chi Minh City stops in Nam Dinh. National Highway No.21 links National Highway No.1A to center of Nam Dinh. National Highway No.10 from Ninh Binh City to Thai Binh, Haiphong, Quang Ninh provinces via Nam Dinh.

Come to Thanh Nam (another name of Nam Dinh Province), you will touch the native land of the Tran Kings and National Hero Tran Hung Dao who defeated three Mongol invasions between 1225 and 1400. Up to now, Tran Royal Remains on Tuc Mac Village have been the huge pride of Nam Dinh people. Some of the remains are Thien Truong and Co Trach Temples, Pho Minh Pagoda and Tower. Tran Temple Festival is held annually on the death anniversary of General Tran Hung Dao at the historical site of tran Dynasty in Nam Dinh City. 

Moreover, Nam Dinh province is also well-known for Phu Day Remains in Vu Ban District. These remains comprise Tien Huong Temple, Van Cat Temple and Goddess Lieu Hanh’s Tomb. Tourists can witness Phu Day Festival on 3rd of the 3rd lunar month.

Located in the Red River Delta, Nam Dinh has a long tradition culture. This cultural treasure is derived from the lives of residents, was developed in various forms and activities such as folk songs, writing, water puppetry, song festivals.

Significantly, Nam Dinh is favorite destination for those who are fond of ecological tourism. Take a visit to Xuan Thuy National Park; tourists can observe plenty of special birds, 9 kinds of which are listed in the World Red Book. This park is a gathering place for tens of thousands of birds migrating from the North every year from November to April.

Besides that, tourists will be offered chances to admire varieties of orchids, camellias and roses in Vi Khe Ornamental Plant Village as well as swimming in Thinh Long Beach.

2 DAYS / 1 NIGHTS (HOMESTAY)

DAY 1: HANOI - VI KHE BONSAI VILLAGE - CONTRYSIDE MUSEUM (L / D)

7:30: Our tour guide and car will pick you up at your hotel and then tranfer to Nam Dinh City.

10:00: Arrive Vi Khe Village. You have chance to visit one of the largest bonsai villages in Vietnam. You can see tree in many shapes, such as a phoenix, dragon, horses, sacred animals… or a the symbol Temple of Literature made by tree. After that, you visit Contryside Museum where collects and keeps many objects about the daily life of Vietnamese farmers. Have lunch.

Afternoon:

Option 1: Visit salt-field, you can try to become a salt-farmer.

Option 2: Become a fisherman and try to pull up the square dipping-net. Tranfer to Ecosea Center, check in Homestay and relax.

19:00: and enjoy the BBQ dinner with local Seafood and then enjoy traditional music show of Red River Delta (Cheo, Van singing, Quan Ho folk song,…) – intangible culture of Vietnam and Unesco.

Overnight in homestay – living with enthusiastic of local people.

DAY 2: XUAN THUY NATIONAL PARK - HANOI (B / L)

Wake up at 5:00 a.m, start your day with an hour cycling around Giao Xuan Commune and enjoy the beauty of sunrise. Go through and visit a local fish-sauce factory. You can see the traditional methods of making this delicious sauce. You will have full experience about Spirit of Vietnam Culture. Come back to Ecosea Center and have breakfast and check out. Then continue with bicycle to Xuan Thuy National Park for bird watching and nice bicycle road with beautiful countryside journey and amazing landscape of Nam Dinh. Getting on boat and take a trip around the national park, check in clams Hut. Have lunch on the there with seafood. 14:30 Transfer to visit Ninh Cuong Church this is the first place of Christ religion step into Vietnam.. 15:45 Get on our bus and transfer back to Hanoi. 18:00 Arrival back at your hotel. End of services and see you next time!
